Growing up, I had had enough.
Beat down, broken, left out.
I couldn't see it their way. Could not feel it their way.
I needed something, a place to go.
And then I found it, I started to know what it felt like to be alright.
To feel something.
No one can stop this. No one can take this away from us.
No one can break this. No one can take this away from us.
Bleeding hands reaching out for help.
I just needed someone to listen.
But first, I needed to find my voice.
I hear the sound. It shakes me back to life.
It wakes me from this living nightmare. I finally feel alright.
